“Having just missed out on a podium place a number of times by a few hundredths of a second, this time I was lucky. Though I didn’t like the Ciaslat section.”
The 34-year-old veteran of the Austrian team achieved 3rd position with only 1/100 of a second in front of the Canadian Marco Sullivan. “These last few seasons I have had to content myself with a number of 4th places, but I never let myself get demoralized. This time I was the lucky one and having achieved 3rd place with only 1/100 of a second advantage I have given myself an early Christmas present. I didn’t really like the Ciaslat section this year, even if I can’t really complain as I skied through it quite well.”
