“Dolomiti Super Trophy”: Miller wins the 25.000 Euro

Dolomiti Super Trophy

It is the first time the “Dolomiti Super Trophy” has been held at the World Cup races in Val Gardena and Alta Badia. In this combination competition the results of all four World Cup races in Val Gardena and Alta Badia were added up. The participants had to compete in at least three of the four races. The best result in Val Gardena and the best result in Alta Badia were then added up.

Bode Miller already won the first “Dolomiti Super Trohpy” before the final slalom race was even held. He had won the Super G in Val Gardena and came second in the giant slalom in Alta Badia. Theoretically the over all World Cup winner of 2005 could still have been beaten in the Slalom by the Val Gardena Downhill winner Steven Nyman, but Nyman didn’t even participate in the slalom on the Gran Risa. Bode Miller received 25.000 Euro prize money for his win in the “Dolomiti Super Trophy”.
