The South-Tyrolean skier with the best odds to place a podium gave away his chances after a few smaller mistakes along the run.
“I blundered the second curve and never felt the speed despite skiing well for the remainder of the course. The audience’s support was spectacular and I wish I could have delivered a place on the podium.
