Sullivan: “I am slowly approaching the podium”
“I skied Ciaslat well, better than all week. It’s a wild ride: you have to find speed in the corrugated sections and take each turn well” says fourth placed Marco Sullivan (USA).
“I was forth here before, in 2006 with 0.04 second delay to Fritz Strobl. But considering yesterday’s fifth and today’s fourth place, I am slowly approaching the podium” says Sullivan. He also commented on the atmosphere here in Gardena-Gröden: “The atmosphere here is always special. The Camel Humps are famous the world-over and it is that great so many people are watching the race from there.”
