First Day of Work on Saslong Course

The preparatory work on the Saslong for the upcoming ski World Cup season has begun today in Gardena/Gröden while the International Ski Federation FIS is coming together...

for its traditional FIS Autumn Meeting in Zurich.

Over the next two weeks, approximately 20 OC members will be in action to undertake general maintenance work and to mount the necessary FIS A Safety Nets at key positions all under the leadership of Course Director Horst Demetz. Investments in safety have once again been generous and new net material has been acquired. No changes to the general outline of the course have been during the summer. The two ski World Cup races - a Downhill and a Super-G - are taking place in Gardena/Gröden on December 14th and 15th.
