Saslong Finish Area turning into Film Studio

It might have looked cold and dreary at the Finish Area of the Saslong this morning (10 ºF) but emotions were running high. Emotions also play a central role in a film that students of the local film school Zelig are shooting during this year’s ski race in Gardena/Gröden.

The film school Zelig located in nearby Bolzano/Bozen is currently working on a project that is focused on showing the multitude of emotions. Film students are taking a closer look at the world of sports which is packed high with emotions. Shooting is planned for Saturday here at the Finish Area of the Saslong.
The project represents the final work prepared by the students after a three-year course. The film will be shown at the local “Filmclub” and participate in several Film Festivals. Benjamin Thum from nearby Pustertal is directing.
