FIS Night Slalom in Val Gardena/Gröden
The Saslong Classic Club Gardena/Gröden, host of the annual Ski World Cup races on the Saslong course, is organizing the 1st Raiffeisen Sochers FIS Challenge Night Race on Thursday, January 30. This will be a FIS night slalom for youth skiers as part of the Grand Prix Italia race series.
The race is to be held on the Sochers course on Ciampinoi. The first run will start at 6:30 pm, the second at 8:15 pm. There are 120 athletes from 6 nations registered so far. Bib selection and distribution will take place on Thursday, January 30th at 2:00 pm in the town hall of St.Christina. The award ceremony will be held after completion of the race at the Restaurant Sochers. The Dolomiti Superskipass is not valid during the evening of the race day. Skiing the lit course and using the lifts to Sochers costs €20. Spectators pay €10 to use the lift Ruacia Sochers to be able to watch the race live.Â
