Gröden Races Confirmed
The two World Cup races in Val Gardena/Gröden have been confirmed in today's FIS Calendar Conference in Varna, Bulgaria.
The men's downhill on the Saslong will take place on Saturday, December 19, 2015, the Super-G on Friday, 18 December. Start time for both races is 12:15 pm. Two training runs are planned for Wednesday and Thursday. Last year's winners were Steven Nyman (USA / Downhill) and Kjetil Jansrud (NOR (Super-G).
"The confirmation by the International Ski Federation gives us confidence and motivates our entire team," says Managing Director Stefania Demetz. "Following last year's nail-biter due to the lack of snow, we hope for cold temperatures in the fall, which would facilitate our work much enormously," adds Race Director Rainer Senoner.
