Oti Striedinger Fan Club Hikes in Val Gardena/Gröden

Last Saturday , the 18th July 2015, the ski enthusiasts from Carinthia redeemed the grand prize. Led by their protégé Oti Striedinger, around 30 fan club members have come to Val Gardena/Gröden. Event Director Günther Comploj and Fan coordinator Genni Tschurtschenthaler hosted the group on their lift ascent to the Seceda mountain station in beautiful weather and bright sunshine. After a short walk, the group was welcomed by innkeepers Markus and Brigitte Prinoth at the Sofie Hut with a refreshing aperitif . Thereafter, the Oti - trailers migrated to the Trojer hut . Overlooking the Langkofel mountain group, Bruno und Waltraud Runggaldier dished out a hearty lunch As in years past, all-round entertainer Günter Comploj brought his guitar for some music and a great mood. The fan walk was supported by Val Gardena - Gröden Marketing .
As a reminder, Oti Striedinger placed 10th in the Super-G on the Saslong. A total of 25 fan clubs counting over 600 members participated in the competition. The Jury selected the Oti Striedinger Fan Club as the winner not only because of their original performance but also thanks to the impressive number of attending fan club members. The past two years, the followers of Sigmar Klotz and Dominik Paris, the "Heilousn" brought home victory.
