Dozens of Fan Clubs meet every year in Valgardena/Gröden. Be it in the finish area of the Saslong or in the streets of St.Ulrich, St.Christina or Wolkenstein: the colours of the fans' jackets and their original banners from countries all over the world cannot be overseen. To honour them this year the Saslong Classic Club organises a fan competition together with the Tourist Board.

The top three groups receive a prize money,  1.033.- Euro (2.000.000.- Lire) for the first, 516.-Euro (1.000.000.- Lire) for the second and 258.- Euro (500.000.- Lire) for the third. The fan clubs will be judged according to their originality, show and number of members. There will be an own jury, made up of some representatives of the Saslong Classic Club, the president of the Valgardena/Gröden  tourist office, the director  of a Valgardena/Gröden  ski school, a representative of the Skiclub and a member of the theatre club.
