Herbert Plank awarded
Soon before the start of today’s 42th Saslong Classic the Southtirolean Skilegend Herbert Plank has been awarded by the President of the OG-Saslong Classic Erich Demetz. Plank won as the first Italian racer a downhill on the Saslong slope.
“At Ciaslat double-S you could see the grass under the ice layer” remembers the ex-athlet from Vipiteno. Curious: Plank reached at his victory 1977 exactly the same time as Kristian Ghedina at his last year’s win.
