News! Maxi-screen on the Camel humps
After surveying the slope this summer, the FIS commission made a request to widen the slope at the Camel humps as well as the arrival area. This was a safety provision for the athletes, particularly those participating in the Super G.
To make the Saslong event all the more exciting, the organising committee has decided to install a maxi-screen near at the Camel humps. The idea was to offer greater visibility in one of the most crucial sites of the race. The grandstand, that can hold approximately 100 spectators, is easily accessible from Saslong’ s slope B.
The type A security netting has already been installed (for a total of 5,000 meters), as well as the 80 snow-makers that are ready to be activated weather permitting.
