The new dual turbine aircraft weighs approx. 1800 kg and can produce 1630 CV of power. Equipped with a double hook and a 90 meter winch it’s suitable for transporting persons (up to 600 kg) as well as equipment and supplies (max. 1200 kg). The maximum weight for take-off is 2830 kg. Normally the EC 135 T2 can carry 6 persons plus the pilot but in the case of an emergency the cabin can hold the pilot, a doctor, an assistant, the winch tech and two injured.
