„Out of the ordinary“ spectators
Some “hard headed” fans in attendance at the World Cup races on Saslong.
35 statues carved in wood have been placed around the finish area. Their presence has a certain effect on the event and its decor. They are the famous “wooden fans” that were created by Gardenese sculptors and have taken part in UNIKA, the annual artistic exhibition held in Roncadizza every September. These “out of the ordinary” spectators have travelled around the globe and have been on display in a variety of prestigious trade shows. The statues are life-size and life-like. Some of them are waving banners and flags, others are cheering and waving their arms while some are just observing with a critical eye.
