35 statues carved in wood have been placed around the finish area. Their presence has a certain effect on the event and its decor. They are the famous “wooden fans� that were created by Gardenese sculptors and have taken part in UNIKA, the annual artistic exhibition held in Roncadizza every September. These “out of the ordinary� spectators have travelled around the globe and have been on display in a variety of prestigious trade shows. The statues are life-size and life-like. Some of them are waving banners and flags, others are cheering and waving their arms while some are just observing with a critical eye.
