Both Klammer and Ghedina have conquered Saslong four times each. What sets them apart is that Ghedina still has a chance to add yet another jewel to his treasures. When the two met today, the long standing bet was on once again. If Ghedina wins, Klammer will walk all the way from from Carinzia to Cortina.  If Ghedina does not win, then he will spend the day in Carinzia scooping ice cream. Proceeds for the event will be donated by the Franz Klammer Foundation for the disabled.
