Anti-doping tests performed

For the first time in the history of world cup skiing a blood test was carried out immediately after a race.
Blood and urine samples from today’s first four skiers (Michael Walchhofer, Hermann Maier, Benjamin Raich and Bode Miller) were analyzed immediately at the end of the race. The tests were carried out by the Swedish institute ITDM (International Doping Test and Management) under the direction of Catarina Medweczky.
