“I have never knowingly taken any banned substance, that would be the last thing I would ever do�, declared Knauss. The test results in Lake Louise revealed an excessive amount of nandrolone (4,2 ng compared to the tolerated amount of 2,5 ng). Knauss suspects that the answer lies in the medicine he was taking to alleviate some jaw pain he had been experiencing. Other tests will be performed before declaring a disqualification.
However,  Hans Pum, manager of the Austrian team confirmed that Hans Knauss will not participate in tomorrow’s DH.
