Music, drums and dancing were part of the varied entertainment program that preceded today’s race as were the special honours given to Franz Klammer but the “Saslong Classic Club� to commemorate his four DH winnings on Saslong. Kristian Ghedina is the only other athlete, so far, that holds the same record.
With the large turn out of fan clubs, it didn’t take long for the grand stand to fill up. Everything is set for the race to begin.
