During his run, Kristian Ghedina spotted a small deer dashing across the race course, which not only got his attention but the rest of the world’s too! The defenceless animal was captured and removed from the site and after a brief pause, the race was underway once again. The incident was one of the many highlights of the 2004 Saslong Classic Club.
