Thanks to the snow and the lower temperatures in the last few days the Val Gardena Organizing Committee managed to prepare the race piste in record time. “The Saslong is as it should be. We have a perfect piste.”,  race director Rainer Senoner claims. “This year the compression is particularly pronounced and the Ciaslat meadows will be more difficult to master than last year as the section has been set differently. As always the Camel Humps are a key point of the race”, says Senoner. Although temperatures are supposed to rise, it will not influence the good condition of the race course.
