Didier Cuche: “Relaxed before race”

After the first 30 racers of the first practice run the Swiss Didier Cuche lies in first place. “Between practice runs and races I have reached about 35 runs on the Saslong.” Cuche declares.

This experience has helped him keep his emotions in check, allowing him to focus on the task in hand. Cuche says: “Over the years I have found a way to distance myself from the race, which is necessary to be successful on a Downhill like Val Gardena. I am far more relaxed.”
