Tomorrow Snow Inspection on Saslong course
A FIS snow inspection on the Saslong World Cup course is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday December 3.
The visit will survey the consistency of the snow as well as verify that all safety precautions are in place along the entire course. The inspection will be conducted by South Tyrolean FIS official Mr. Sepp Messner. Mr. Messner is expected at 9:00 am. The course is in optimal conditions and opened to the general skiing public this weekend. On December 9, the Saslong will be closed in preparation for the upcoming races. The snow check will take place approximately 10 days prior to the athlete's arrivals. Last year it was postponed due to the warm weather conditions. The World Cup races in Gardena-Gröden, a Super-G and a downhill race, are scheduled for December 14 and 15.
