Maier: “Training unlike yesterday”
Hermann Maier believes the course has picked up speed since yesterday. Skiers can’t afford to lose time on any part of the run if they want to be on the podium in Saturday’s race.
“Today’s speed level was markedly different and I wasn’t the only one to notice” says Maier who placed ninth in today’s second training run.
As for his chances to the podium:” Gardena-Gröden has always been very hard for me as history has shown. You have to be determined not to lose any time.
