3rd Team Captain Meeting
FIS Chief Race Director Günther Hujara confirms at the team captain meeting that the course crew will continue to refine the jumps up to the day of the race. Today’s training showed that speed levels are too high.
“Today’s results have clearly shown that the slope has picked up speed. Times were up to six seconds faster than yesterday. Jumps will therefore be refined to ensure safety for all racers” says Mr. Hujara.
Hujara also states that the FIS will check back protectors at the race. Teams were also informed that this year’s flower ceremonies will take place inside the Arrival and Friday’s Super-G award ceremony will be integrated into the presentation in Nives square in Selva-Wolkenstein on Friday night.
