Didier Cuche takes the gold in the Super-G in Gardena-Gröden with a lead of 2/100 ahead of Bode Miller and 4/100 ahead of Marco Buechel. Staudacher is sixth and best placed among the Italian contingent.
The 33-year-old from Switzerland has clocked a respectable time of 1:36.62 despite a slip in a very important section of the course. Right behind him is the talented American skier Bode Miller and Marco Buechel who takes third podium in today’s Super-G World Cup in Gardean-Gröden.
