Saturday in a nutshell

The highlight of this week’s FIS World Cup week in Gardena-Gröden is taking place tomorrow, Saturday December 15: the classic Downhill race scheduled to start at 12:15 pm. There will be plenty of entertainment and cultural programs supporting the main event.

Overview of Saturday’s program:

  • 8:30 am: Wake-up call
  • 10:00 am: Tyrolean snacks and music with „Raschötzer Buam“ at Saslong stadium
  • 10:00 am: Fan club get-together with snacks at Hofer’s Alm Piz 5
  • 10:45 am: Fan club parade to Saslong stadium
  • 11:00 am: “Passion and Performance” celebrating 40 years of Ski World Cup in Gardena-Gröden featuring images, reportages and choreographic pieces at Saslong stadium
  • 12:15 pm: Downhill Ski World Cup
  • 2:00 pm: Formal award ceremony Donwhill at Saslong stadium
  • 3:00 pm: Award ceremony Fan clubs at Saslong-Stadium
  • 3:00 pm: Après-ski parties at Hofer’s Alm Piz 5, Heustadl und Pizzeria Maciaconi
