The first athletes have already arrived in Gardena-Gröden. The two Canadians Erik Guay and Manuel Osborne-Paradis will start their training on Monday on the Dantercepies...
...to prepare for the racing week in the Dolomites. Also starting Monday, athletes from Switzerland and Slovenia will train Giant Slalom on the No. 3 course of Ciampinoi. A total of 84 athletes from 16 nations are registered to compete in the World Cup races in Gardena-Gröden. Austria forms the largest team with 14 racers and 20 support staff. The Super-G is scheduled for Friday, December 19th and the Downhill for Saturday, December 20th. It snowed all day yesterday.
