The Super-G award ceremony and Downhill bib drawing presentation will be musically accompanied by the youth orchestra “Sonoton”. The approximately 60 musicians will perform a pre-holiday concert on Friday, December 18th at 6:00 pm in front of athletes, support, journalists, public dignitaries and guests from all over the world. The orchestra was founded in 1992 with the intent to provide young musicians from Ladin-speaking valleys with the opportunity to perform in an orchestral setting and to elaborate on works of different styles and eras. The Foundation Südtiroler Sparkasse is once again demonstrating its commitment to South Tyrol’s culture and to the culturally significant event hosted by World Cup Gardena-Gröden.
