Hujara: Praise for the team in the blue jackets
At the third Team Captains’ Meeting FIS Race Director Guenter Hujara praised „the team in the blue jackets“, (the local Organising Committee) for the perfectly prepared piste. The media representatives however got a good scolding for not abiding by the rules which were established only yesterday and disturbing the athletes during the race course inspection.
The technical delegate Michael Huber reminded everyone in his opening words at the Team Captains’ Meeting that the athletes should not be disturbed while inspecting the piste and that from now on this would be strictly controlled. It was only at yesterday’s Team Captains’ Meeting that Guenter Hujara had announced the new regulation which had been drawn up together with representatives of the athletes and their coaches.
Probably some of the media representatives did not abide by the new rules. In fact after the Team Captains’ Meeting the media representatives were requested to appear in front of Hujara.
