Bourque also pulled his cruciate ligaments
The Canadian Francois Bourque most likely also pulled the cruciate ligaments in his left knee during today’s Super-G in Gardena/Groeden. This was reported by the Canadian team at Friday evening’s Team Captains’ Meeting.
Just like the German Tobias Stecher on Wednesday during the Downhill Training, Bourque also didn’t fall when injuring himself. The Canadian entered the race with bib number 6. Coming out of the Ciaslat meadows he jumped, landed and then had to pull off to the side holding his left knee. He has most likely pulled his cruciate ligaments. What makes it worse ist that Bourque had exactly the same injury in 2007/08.
