Werner Heel will not be taking part in today’s Men’s Downhill in Gardena/Groeden. After his fall in yesterday’s Super-G Heel went to Bolzano/Bozen for a magnetic resonance. Unfortunately the South Tyrolean has severely injured his left knee, forcing him to rest for three weeks. Heel will miss not only today’s Downhill on the Saslong but also the one in Bormio. He will hopefully be ready to race again in Wengen, mid-January.
