The 1st grade of the Hotel Management High School “Kaiserhof” in Meran has conducted a spectator satisfaction survey in cooperation with the World Cup in Gardena/Gröden. 242 individuals from 12 countries have participated. The results were throughout positive.

The project consisted of a lottery which was linked to an online survey on the World Cup Gardena-Gröden official homepage www.saslong.org and was directed by Martin Kreil from ROI Team Consultant.

Spectators were asked to opine on their level of satisfaction with regards to signage, parking, fees, reservations, waiting times at the cashier, lodging, entertainment program, staff helpfulness and competence, toilets, etc., on a scale of values ranging from very satisfied to very dissatisfied.

The results of the survey were throughout positive – with a few shortcomings - proven by the fact that the people polled recommend attending the World Cup in Gardena-Gröden.

Three valuable prizes were awarded through the lottery: a vacation week for two people at the four-star hotel “Maciaconi” in Selva-Wolkenstein, two VIP hospitality invitations for the World Cup Gardena-Gröden 2010-11 and two Dolomiti Superski day passes including lunch at the “Salei” hut.

The survey was conducted from December through January. The results were presented after a two-month evaluation at the end of March and included a highly regarded presentation on the organization of sport events by Stefania Demetz, General Manager of World Cup Gardena-Gröden.
