Gardena-Gröden - Alta Badia

Ski sport, entertainment and gastronomy at their highest level. That is what guests and spectators alike can expect at the World Cup races in Gardena-Gröden and Alta Badia.

Between December 17th and 19th of this year, these two valleys will be host to three races: a Super-G and Downhill on the Saslong and a Giant Slalom on the Gran Risa. The combined prize money for the three races is set at 258,000 Euro.

2000 individuals will be in action during the racing week. The three World Cup races will be broadcast live by 15 TV stations globally. Add to that another two dozen TV stations who will report on the races on a time-delayed basis. Additionally, over three hundred journalists are expected in these two Ladin-speaking valleys.

The offered entertainment program is also of the highest level. For example, the award ceremony and bib selection in Gardena-Gröden will feature Bojan Ristic’s Brass Band from Serbia. Alta Badia is planning big fireworks and the traditional jet flight performance “Frecce Tricolori”. On Saturday, VIP Hospitality’s “Haus Südtirol” will be offering an exquisite cuisine prepared by star-chefs from Alta Badia and Gardena-Gröden. Furthermore, two giant tents will be provided for our fans and the general public in both arrival areas.
