Ic cooperation with South Tyrolean Sports Foundation “Sporthilfe”
The South Tyroelan Sports Foundation “Sporthilfe” will once again host the traditional lottery to promote emerging South Tyrolean athletes.
This non-profit association will have a dedicated stand at the World Cup races in Gardena-Gröden and a sales team will be at hand to sell lottery tickets to the audience to benefit the foundation. There are 25 five exciting prizes (see www.sporthilfe.it). Lottery tickets cost 5 Euro and can be purchased at all World Cup races in South Tyrol as well as at branches of the South Tyrolean bank Cassa di Risparmio-Sparkasse. The prize drawing is scheduled for January 5, 2011 during the outdoor fair in Bolzano-Bozen. First price is a brand-new OPEL Meriva.
Stefan Leitner is the head of the South Tyrolean Sports Foundation and believes that this type of youth promotion has been beneficial in years past. “This campaign has also contributed to raising the profile and awareness of the Foundation to the general public.”
The entire funds from the lottery will be used towards the promotion of emerging young athletes including the support of approximately 200 young sports talents as well as helping the financially less fortunate.
Some of the current leading athletes competing at the races in Gardena-Gröden including Peter Fill, Werner Heel, Christof Innerhofer and Domminik Paris have benefited from the Foundation’s support in the past.
