FIS snow check postponed
The FIS snow check for the upcoming ski World Cup races in Gardena/Gröden is not taking place as originally planned on Saturday, December 1 but instead on Monday, December 3rd.
This is to allow FIS Race Director Helmuth Schmalzl to return from the United States. Mr. Schmalzl himself will conduct the snow check on the Saslong to ensure that the course is in race conditions.
The Super-G is scheduled for Friday, December 14 and the Downhill for Saturday, December 15. Start for both races is 12:15 pm. The first of two training runs will take place on Wednesday, December 12th.
