46th Saslong Classic
The 46th edition of the Saslong Classic in Gardena/Gröden is taking place on December 20th and 21st. Around 80 skiers from 23 nations will participate. These are the first speed events in Europe after the racers’ return from overseas.
A Super-G for Friday and a Downhill for Saturday are on the program. The start for both races is set at 12:15 pm. Training runs are planned for Wednesday and Thursday.
The prize monies for both races amount to €162,000. Winners will be awarded €28,500.
Around 500 media representatives are reporting on the races in Gardena/Gröden. Forty to fifty TV channels are broadcasting the races throughout the world. New camera locations will make these races even more interesting for the audience.
