47th Saslong Classic: Preparations have Begun

over the next two weeks under the leadership of Horst Demetz. “We have completely overhauled the spectator fences from the Camel Humps to the VIP area at the Jägerhaus Hut” says Course Director Mr. Demetz. “Next, we’re checking all the A safety nets for potential damages." The significant snow falls during the past winter resulted in several damaged bolts. They will have to be fastened and put back in order in the next few days. “The safety precautions have to comply with the specifications set by the International Ski Federation FIS.” adds Mr. Demetz. Cables for timing and TV will we moved as part of the second phase, along with mounting safety nets and testing snow machines.
