Another big topic was the loaded Men’s ski calendar with five races in five days in three different venues. This made waves particularly in Austria. OE24.at wrote in Ski-Stars sauer wegen Monster-Programm of a “Stress Program� in the next few days. Ski athletes are indeed under enormous pressure starting Friday. Several French news outlets picked up on an important piece of news. Alex Pinturault had a bad crash in Beaver Creek, but will be at the Start in Val Gardena/Gröden (Alexis Pinturault sera bien à Val Gardena, L’Equipe). Beaver Creek Super-G winner Austrian Marcel Hirscher, on the other hand, will skip the Saslong this year (Marcel Hirscher lässt Speed-Bewerbe in Gröden aus, Krone).
