Even though the results of the second and last training do not say much, for the fastest, Kurt Sulzenbacher, it was still positive: „In these conditions one couldn’t try much, we didn’t profit much of the training. However I am quite happy with mine.“ Concerning the race his goal is to repeat his second place of Val d´Isere and: „One can always dream of the top...“
The Norwegian Kjetil-Andre Aamodt finished second with a delay of 1,61 seconds. „I hope to repeat my best result in Val Gardena/Gröden and finish among the top five. In Val d´Isere I finished 14th and I really want to improve“, he stated after the training.
The three-times winner in Val Gardena/Gröden Kristian Ghedina stressed again he was giving his best: „As long as the conditions allowed it, I did my best. Today the timing is relative. For tomorrow’s race the goal is obvious: I want to win and reach Franz Klammer’s record who won four times on the Saslong.“
