Luca Cattaneo’s fall of today during the training test of the 42th Saslong Classic is worse than originally thought. His left knee has badly injured. Anteriour, medial, lateral cruciate and patella tendon of the left knee are broken and furthermore the Patella tendon. This is the strong “judge” of the medical Center of Bressanone, where Cattaneo has been driven soon after his fall. This evening or latest tomorrow morning Cattaneo will be taken to Milan into the “Ospedale Ortopedico Galeazzi”, where Herbert Schönhuber, chief-doctor of Italy’s Skisports Federation will analyse him.
