Kristian Ghedina's health
"I start handicapped into the new season, as in May, playing soccer with my friends, I got a contusion on the shinbone. I didn't care much, but when I started my ski training, I had great pain. I had a big haematoma and got treatment. In addition to it at the end of October, during training on the Passo Stelvio, I tore my abductor. I almost had a bad fall at a speed of nearly 100 km/h. Thus I had to pause again. After intensive therapies I thought I was fit again but training in Canada I realized I was not yet healed completely. I had not enough strength I my legs and was scared of falling again and getting seriously injured. Last week I was in Milan for therapy: ultrasound, a lot of gymnastics and laser therapy (at a high dosage). On my sinew I had calcium sediments. In addition I have problems with my back which don't allow me to lift weights. However I'll be at Val d' Isčre, and I'm really looking forward to Val Gardena!"
