Preparations have started on the Saslong

Members of the committee have started preparing the racecourse after the summer was spent in clean up works.  Newly acquired safety fences will be fixed with precision, TV cameras positioned, cables shifted and the snow plant tested.  Additionally, the lift company "Saslong" has acquired new snow cannons, which should guarantee plenty of powder for the racers. Approximately 10 members of the Saslong Classic Club are currently involved in the preparation.  Race director Rainer Senoner commented: "We are preparing the Saslong so we are in a position to start working as soon as the first snow falls."
